kickstarter:

If you’re in the city this Saturday, pop by NY Creative Interns’ all-day conference, Find and Follow Your Passion. It will feature panels, discussions, and workshops designed to give emerging creative professionals the tools needed to create their dream careers — and our very own Stephanie Pereira will be on hand to speak! Check out their page for more deets, but some more reasons to go: the keynote speaker will be Josh Siegal, writer and producer of 30 Rock, followed by speakers from the Guggenheim, Etsy, AOL, Mashable, MTV, Sesame Street, NBC, LinkedIn, and more.

NY Creative Interns One Year Bash: Celebrating 20+ Events, 1,000+ Guests and Countless Connections

In just one year NY Creative Interns has become the largest meetup group for creative college students and recent grads in New York City. We’ve thrown over 20 events that have been attended by more than 1,000 local creatives. The results? An inspired community of emerging creatives who have found inspiration, internships, jobs, mentors, and friends.

We’re celebrating in style with our One Year Anniversary Bash at The Wix Lounge. This night will celebrate the past and the future and is a chance for our community to come together, dress, up, and have fun.

Party Details

Entertainment, Dessert, and Drinks:

This is going to be so. much.fun. DJ Frankenmack will be spinning great tunes, Galo Delgado of The Photobooth Project will be snapping shots of you looking snazzy, our host The Wix Lounge is providing an open bar and Sweet Loren‘s is providing delicious cookies and brownies to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Dress:

Cocktail attire. Think that fancy black dress you’ve been hoping you could bust out of the closet and for guys, ties and blazers abound. Use this as an excuse to play dress up and have fun. General rule of thumb, it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed.

Door Prizes:

Thanks to our friends (and sources of inspiration) at Holstee we are giving away Holstee Manifesto posters to three lucky party attendees.

The Match Game:

When you arrive you’ll be receiving a half of an inspring image provided byThinkstock and their collection of royalty-free photos. Your mission throughout the night is to find your match. It will be a fun reason to introduce yourself to strangers. When and if you do find your match, be sure to get your photo taken together at our photobooth provided by The Photobooth Project. Then you can continue the fun by helping others find their match.

A Year In Review Wix Site:

Find yourself in photos from this year’s event as our Wix site (which we built in about 20 minutes…check out Wix as a place to build an awesome portfolio site) is projected on the wall throughout the night.

Tickets:

Tickets can be purchased here and are our normal $5 for students and recent grads and $10 for professionals. We also have Super Supporter tickets for $50 and Micro-Sponsor tickets for $100. These are for folks who’d like to help NY Creative Interns continue to thrive. All the money from those tickets goes to programming costs and you get a permanent spot on our About PageBe sure to print your tickets out and bring them with you.

We’d Love to Hear From You

Since we’re nothing without our community, we’d love to project quotes from you all on our Wix site through out the night. Share a quote in the comments here about being a part of NY Creative Interns Community and what the experience has given you and you could see yourself on the big screen. Sharing is caring. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
