Scenes from NYCi Meetup #2: The Failure Method.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out for NY Creative Interns’ second event: “The Failure Method: Why Taking Risks is Important to Being Successful!”
We were honored to have such a wonderful panel of creative professionals: Amber Rae (Chief Evangelist at The Domino Project), Jason Boog (Publishing Editor at Mediabistro), Wendy Wecksell (Manager of Corporate Development at Tribeca Enterprises), and Dave Brown (Social Media Specialist at Etsy).
The event was not only hosted by Meetup in their ridiculously cool offices, but they also provided free pizza, drinks and t-shirts for our 100 attendees. Attendees also received a beautiful card and sticker from Holstee plus an ecosystem notebook thanks to Sterling Publishing.
All photos below were taken by our wonderful photographer for the night, Galo Delgado of The Photobooth Project.

Our inspiring panel, L-R: Dave Brown, Wendy Wecksell, Jason Boog and Amber Rae.

Two amazing members of the Meetup staff: Nora Lorenzo (Recruiting Coordinator) and Erin Dertouzos (Team Development Manager).

Photobooth fun!

The panel shared risks they have taken, mistakes they learned from, and offered encouragement and advice to all.

Thanks again to our sponsors: Meetup.com, Sterling Publishing, Holstee, and The Photobooth Project!
