Join career and social media experts in an interactive panel and Q&A session that will cover how to use social media for networking and tips on using social networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn effectively for career advancement.

Moderator: Zach Seward (@zseward) is the Outreach Editor for The Wall Street Journal, where he works on social media, partnerships, and new projects. He also teaches at the journalism schools of NYU and Columbia. Previously, he was assistant editor of the Nieman Journalism Lab, reporting on the news industry and innovation in online journalism. Before that, he covered education, health, and investment fraud in the Journal’s Boston bureau.
Ryan Healy (@rjhealy) is the COO and Co-Founder of Brazen Careerist, a career management site for young professionals that helps members create new professional relationships to advance their careers. He Co-founded Brazen Careerist in late 2007 after gaining notoriety through Employee Evolution, his blog about Generation Y in the workplace. Ryan has been named one of the country’s top Human Resource thought leaders by World at Work and Accenture, and is a recognized workplace expert for the young workforce, appearing in print publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Business Week and as a spokesperson for the new generation of young professionals on 60 Minutes and PBS Nightly News. Prior to founding Brazen Careerist, Ryan worked as a Financial Consultant for IBM Global Business Services in Washington D.C. He holds a B.S. in Business from Pennsylvania State University.
Jenny Blake (@jenny_blake) is an author, blogger and life coach. Her newly-released book (Life After College: The Complete Guide to Getting What You Want), is a “portable life coach for twenty-somethings” that features practical tips, quotes and coaching exercises for every area of someone’s life. She has also worked at Google for over five years in Training & Career Development and is currently on a three and a half month sabbatical so that she can travel around the country for her 14-city book tour.
Ruben Quinones (@rubenq) Director of New Media at @PathInteractive, Adjunct instructor at NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies Marketing and Public Relations Studies Program. Teaching “Examining Social Media Networks for Brand Value” and “Search Engine Optimization“, core courses in the Digital Media Marketing Certificate Program. A speaker at venues such as Web 2.0 Expo, Search Engine Strategies, and NY Expo. Also voted in as one of the top marketing professors by Social Media Magazine. A seasoned online marketing professional, prior to joining Path Interactive, Ruben’s related experience includes founding and marketing a one of the Internet’s first vertical search directories, directed at property managers, and was an advertising internet consultant for Verizon Information Services for national brands and small businesses. Ruben is also a blogger, contributing blogger, and prevalent speaker on Social Media topics. Ruben Quinones is a graduate of Nyack College in NY.
Chandlee Bryan, M.Ed., (@chandlee) is the Community Manager at StartWire, a new site dedicated to eliminating the black hole frequently experienced by job seekers. A certified career coach, Chandlee is a co-author of The Twitter Job Search Guide (JIST 2010) and has worked as a recruiter, as the Director of Career Services at Dartmouth College’s engineering school, and as professional development liaison for rocket scientists at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Since April 2008, she has also served as the primary organizer for the NYC Job Seekers Meetup group, a community which has grown from 100 to 1300.
